Tears rolling. This touched me so much.. A common thing that people told me when I was breast feeding my projectile puking and screaming around the clock son with lip and tongue tie while on an allergy restricted diet (he is allergic to dairy, legumes and soy) was "you don't win a medal." No medal for a natural birth, no medal for breastfeeding, no medal for selflessness in motherhood, no medal for sacrifice.. But we should. We should pat ourselves and our babies on the back and each other. And you dear withstood and overcame such adversity. I'm grateful to have read your post. You are stronger than you know.
